Date pattern

Discover upcoming palindromic, repeating and sequential dates. Search a day, month or year, include times, and explore arithmetic and Fibonacci patterns with visual explanations.

Advanced options

Patterns use Gregorian dates and 24-hour wall-clock values, independently of time zones. Time options also include shorter precisions and date-only matches.

Highlights: full-year digit patterns or at least three repeated/sequence groups. Balanced: also other year-bearing patterns and yearless patterns with six or more digits. All: every match.

How the mathematics works

Palindrome: 1221 ↔ 1221; Repeating digits: 12 · 12 · 12; Ascending sequence: 9 → 10 → 11; Descending sequence: 12 → 11 → 10; Arithmetic progression: 2 → 4 → 6 (+2); Equal digit runs: 00 · 11 · 22; Fibonacci sequence: 1 + 2 = 3; 2 + 3 = 5.

In date equations, YY means the last two digits of the year. All other patterns cover the entire displayed digit string; separators are ignored.
